"Healthy me - healthy family"

 

Avitus carries out the project "Healthy me - healthy family" in a period of May 2012 - October 2013". The project is funded by Swiss Estonian Cooperation Fund and KÜSK National Foundation of Civil Society by 44 763 EUR.  


Avitus NPO project  „Healthy me – healthy family“ consists of developing services, which are focused on preventing and relieving depression and offering parenting education with the objective of alleviating parents’ stress and bringing up healthy and coping children, preventing social and health problems in the future.

 

The objective of the project is to increase the availability and quality of public services for the local residents to strengthen mental health, in cooperation with public sector, through starting the services in Avitus business plan. The training programs in the field of mood disorders and parenting education will be started.

 

When carrying out the project, there is an objective to achieve working and efficient cooperation with the public sector and involved partners: Social Ministry Public Health department, Tallinn Social and Health Service department, Viimsi parish, Keila city, Valga city, Püünsi school and Viimsi school.
